About Dr. Weaver

Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Dr. DeWayne Weaver joined Lewiston Orthopedics in 2018. He specializes in general orthopedics, which includes the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of a variety of injuries and conditions, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures, trigger finger, rotator cuff tears, shoulder arthritis, knee ligament injuries, shoulder instability, and tendon ruptures. He works closely with his patients in developing personalized treatment plans and offers the highest level of care to help patients achieve a definitive change in their overall function and quality of life.

Dr. Weaver received his undergraduate degree from the University of Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. Following medical school, he completed his surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency training at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington.

When he isn’t seeing patients in Lewiston or Dayton, Dr. Weaver spends his free time outdoors. He enjoys backpacking, cross-country skiing, fishing, hiking, hunting, playing golf, snowboarding, and snowmachining.
