Lewiston Orthopedics Now in Dayton

Lewiston Orthopedics, a Division of Catalyst Medical Group, is extending access to their services to residents of Dayton and the surrounding areas through a monthly outreach clinic. Offering specialized bone, joint and muscle care and consultation, Lewiston Orthopedics’ Dayton clinic is in Columbia County Health System’s Dayton General Hospital at 1012 S. 3rd St. The clinic is currently held by two specialty-trained providers from Lewiston Orthopedics; additional providers may be added in the future. In addition to its current location in Lewiston, Idaho, this new outreach clinic provides residents of Dayton, Waitsburg, Starbuck and the surrounding areas access to individualized, advanced orthopedic treatment and services. Specialty-trained orthopedic surgeon DeWayne L. Weaver, M.D., will provide care and consultation at Dayton General Hospital once a month. 

Dr. Weaver is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and specializes in general orthopedics. His expertise includes the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of a variety of injuries and conditions, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures, trigger finger, rotator cuff tears, shoulder arthritis, knee ligament injuries, shoulder instability and tendon ruptures.

“Our practice has enjoyed the privilege of serving residents in the Lewiston area for more than 45 years,” says Dr. Weaver. “We are thrilled for the opportunity to offer our skills and services to residents in Dayton and the surrounding communities.”

After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Indianapolis in Indiana, Dr. Weaver went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine. Following medical school, he completed his surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency training at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma.
