Lewiston Orthopedics to Host 14th Annual Free Sports Screening Event July 20

As their 14th annual sports screening event, Lewiston Orthopedics is offering free sports screenings for local athletes on Wednesday, July 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointment is necessary. The sports screening event will be held in Lewiston at 320 Warner Drive. Athletes or parents and guardians seeking more information can contact the practice at (800) 841-3523.

When going into Lewiston Orthopedics for a free sports screening, athletes must: 

• Be accompanied by a parent.
• Wear a T-shirt and shorts.
• Bring filled-out forms from their school’s website.
• Wear glasses or contacts, if applicable. 

“We want to see every student-athlete healthy, enjoying their game and performing at their best for the entire season,” says Dr. J. Adam Jelinek, fellowship-trained sports medicine surgeon at Lewiston Orthopedics. “We are providing student-athletes with the means to get a free sports screening to help ensure the health and safety of our athletic community.”
