Although the newest member of the staff at Lewiston Orthopaedics, Dr. Steven Boyea is not totally new to the area, being a native of the Northwest with extended family in the Lewiston & Clarkston valley. He joined the practice in 2001. He received his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon and completed his orthopaedic residency and hand fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Boyea held the position of Chief of Hand Surgery Service with the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX prior to moving to Lewiston to join Lewiston Orthopaedic Associates, P.A. He continues to specialize in hand and upper extremity surgery, but is well versed in general orthopedics, as well, and treats a variety of ailments, including orthopedic trauma patients.
Dr. Boyea is currently licensed in Idaho and Washington and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
